DEEP EDDY RECORDS: Deep Eddy Records is based in Austin, Texas. It is the current home of many great garage and surf bands, including Austin's 3 Balls of Fire and The Nematoads, plus The Demands, The Subway Surfers and Mister Neutron.

MISTER NEUTRON AT GARAGEBAND: Garageband.com is very "2001," but Mister Neutron still has a page there. "Naughty Bits" and "Danger: Diabolik" were both "Track of the Day" at one point, and "A Mod Proposal" has won several awards.
NESMA: NORTH EAST SURF MUSIC ALLIANCE: Mister Neutron is a proud member of NESMA, the North East Surf Music Alliance, which is based in Connecticut. Northeast surf/instro bands need to stick together, and NESMA makes that happen.
TWANG SHEBANG: Unsteady Freddie is New York City's one-and-only surf-music promoter, and Twang Shebang is his online surf/instro radio show. It's also a Web site where Unsteady posts photos from his monthly surf shows at Otto's Shrunken Head (and other places).
A DAY AT THE BEACH: Clint Beachwood hosts KCR's weekly "A Day at the Beach" Internet radio show live from the campus of San Diego State University 7 to 9 p.m. (EST) every Thursday. It's two hours of great surf music, plus in-studio appearances. Damian was there in February 2006, and Mister Neutron performed a live set at the studio in March 2007.
DEVLAR SURF SESSIONS: Ray Dukes runs Devlar Surf Sessions, a non-stop marathon of surf music from great bands around the world. Any time of the day, 24/7, you might hear a Mermen song followed by "Super Constellation." He is based in Levittown, Pa.
THE BLUE MEANIES: Damian and Tony are also members of The Blue Meanies, a New York-based British Invasion band. The Blue Meanies perform every year at The Fest for Beatles Fans in Secaucus, N.J., and at Abbey Road on the River in Louisville, Ky.
GARY OWEN: Gary Owen is a long-time friend of Mister Neutron. He co-wrote "Vlad the Impala" and plays rhythm guitar on "Vlad the Impala," "Comanchero" and "Adriatica." All three members of Mister Neutron appear on Gary's 2006 CD, "Summer," and Damian and Tony appear on his first CD, "Autumn." Both CDs are available at cdbaby.com.
THE NEMATOADS: Our friends The Nematoads are a great surf/instro band from Austin, Texas. We played with them in Austin and San Antonio in April 2005.
MISS NEUTRON'S SHRINE: Miss Neutron's Shrine is a very funny mockumentary Web site about Mister Neutron. It's the work of Patty the K of St. Louis. The interviews are real, though!
TEXAS INDEPENDENT MUSICIANS: Mister Neutron belongs to Texas Independent Musicians. The organization is designed for bands and performers to share their knowledge of the music industry with others, arrange contacts, organize showcases to bring exposure to the music of members, and to support events for charity causes.
ROCKN' JOE: Damian used to live next door to Rockn' Joe, a cool restaurant/cafe in Cranford, N.J., and he has consumed gallons of Rockn' Joe coffee and tons of Rockn' Joe sandwiches. Mister Neutron played at the grand opening of the Westfield, N.J., location in October 2006.
DAMIAN ON MYSPACE: Damian was born June 29, 1967.
TONY ON MYSPACE: Tony was born Dec. 26, 1965.
THE BLUE MEANIES ON MYSPACE: As we've said, Damian and Tony are also in The Blue Meanies, and sometimes Drew fills in for J.T., the usual drummer.
