This NOR'EASTER tune used to be called "Pictures of Breakfast," and it had lyrics about a kid taking odd photos in a diner on a Sunday morning. In fact, we recorded the backing tracks in 2003 for a children's CD that never came out. Because the song always had a surf feel to it, it seemed natural to ditch the not-so-great vocal track (by Damian) and replace it with guitar, which we did in 2007. The lead guitar is a 1983 Ronaldo Custom made by Ronaldo Orlandini at Pastore Music in Union City, N.J. It was Damian's first "real" guitar. Part of the solo is inspired by George Harrison's solo in The Beatles' Decca-sessions version of Buddy Holly's "Crying, Waiting, Hoping."
